Daily Maintenance and Care for Sealing Machines with Pressing Caps

Author:

Administration Department – Li Yuanyuan

1. After the equipment is operating normally, to ensure maximum production capacity and service life, and to reduce mechanical failures, regular maintenance and upkeep should be strengthened.

2. Before and after shifts, equipment should be thoroughly cleaned. When the equipment is not in use for an extended period, lubrication points should be fully greased, and then the equipment should be covered with a protective cover.

3. All sliding and rolling friction surfaces as well as gear meshing areas inside the guard shall be lubricated weekly with No. 2 composite calcium-based grease (generally conforming to GB491-87). Each oil cup shall be refilled with lubricant 1–2 times per shift.

4. Before leaving the factory, all types of bearings are pre-filled with grease. During annual overhauls, they should be disassembled and inspected, and the grease should be replaced anew.

5. Before starting the machine each shift, first run it empty for 5 minutes. Only after confirming that the entire machine is operating normally can you begin actual operation.

6. The sealing machine head must be kept free of water. If water accidentally splashes onto it, be sure to wipe it clean immediately and perform maintenance right away!
