On-site management

— Theme
On-site management is closely related to each and every one of us employees and is intimately connected to our daily lives. The production site is a microcosm of enterprise management activities—almost all of a company’s key operations are carried out right there. Thus, on-site management serves as an important reflection of both the management level and capabilities of enterprises and individuals. As the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” Effective on-site management is one of the key indicators of whether an enterprise has achieved standardization and regularization. Enterprises with well-managed on-site operations are more likely to gain recognition from external parties. Focusing on on-site management helps improve the working environment and enhance the quality and competence of employees. A key tool for enhancing productivity, it can significantly boost labor efficiency. The workplace is where problems first emerge. On-site management helps reduce quality issues and eliminate potential quality risks.
At this morning’s meeting, Zhu Hongsheng and Li Xizeng from the Sheet Metal Workshop, Ma Fei and Wang Jiwei from the Metalworking Workshop, and Zhao Baosen and Wu Yuming from the Assembly Workshop analyzed the most prominent issues in recent on-site management practices. They also drew valuable lessons from these issues to prevent their recurrence in the future.
Strengthening on-site production management helps enhance the company’s economic benefits and bolster its market competitiveness. On-site management requires the proper allocation and optimized combination of various production factors—including people, machinery, materials, methods, and the working environment—so as to ensure that production at the site achieves high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, safety, and civilized operations according to predetermined objectives. This, in turn, provides a solid foundation for the company to improve its overall efficiency.

Distinguished leaders and outstanding Qilu employees, good morning!
Production site management is an important component of the company’s overall management optimization. The recent phenomena that have emerged have, to varying degrees, affected the company’s normal production and operational efficiency—and even impacted the company’s external image.
The 6S site management system currently being implemented by the company is an effective on-site management philosophy and approach widely adopted in modern factories. It significantly enhances efficiency, ensures quality, keeps the work environment clean and orderly, emphasizes prevention as the primary strategy, and guarantees workplace safety. At its core, 6S site management represents an execution-oriented corporate culture—one that places great emphasis on discipline, dares to face challenges, turns ideas into action, and strives for excellence in every task. By effectively implementing the foundational principles of 6S site management, we can create a higher-quality management platform that supports other managerial activities. Therefore, we must earnestly strengthen on-site production management to further improve management performance and ultimately optimize the company’s overall management level.
